Parsippany Resident Charged with Hindering his own Apprehension


HANOVER TOWNSHIP — Officer Matt Gallagher arrested both Mr. Paul Murch, 23, Parsippany and Ms. Kate Rainerman, 19, Randolph for Hindering.

Mr. Murch was originally stopped for a motor vehicle violation when he provided false information to Officer Gallagher believing he had an active warrant.

Ms. Rainerman, the passenger in the vehicle, confirmed the information that Mr. Murch originally provided to the police which was false. Both individuals were arrested and transported to Hanover Township Police Headquarters for processing.

Mr. Murch was charged with Hindering his own apprehension and Ms. Rainerman was charged with Hindering the apprehension of another. Both were released after processing pending their court dates.
