Rockaway Man Charged With Shoplifting

HANOVER TOWNSHIP — Hanover Township Police Officer Marc Leggour arrested Mr. Ariel Avdaev, 34, Rockaway, for shoplifting, on Monday, December 23.

Mr. Avdaev was observed by the stores loss prevention placing several items into plastic bags in his shopping cart and then attempting to leave the store without paying for those items.

The total amount of unpaid items was $842.88.

Mr. Avdaev was arrested and charged with shoplifting and was released pending his court date.
