FLORHAM PARK — The Florham Park Volunteer Fire Department is actively seeking new members. For further information please contact Fire Chief Scott Carpenter at (973) 377-3241 or via email at fpvfd@florhamparkboro.net.

Please consider becoming a member of this essential group of volunteers.

As residents of the Borough of Florham Park your fire and rescue needs are provided by the Florham Park Volunteer Fire Department 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. At the present time they are recruiting new members to support our current and future needs. Being a member provides the opportunity to assist and help our borough’s citizens and businesses in time of emergencies and special needs.

The time you devote as a Volunteer Firefighter is based on your own schedule and availability. There are some minimum requirements for monthly training meetings and drills. Training exercises are usually held the second, third and fourth Monday of the month. Basic training includes classes at the Morris County Fire Academy where you will graduate with a certification as New Jersey Firefighter. There are unlimited opportunities for continued training based on your individual interests.
