Town of Boonton Republican Committee Reorganizes; Prepares for 2021 General Election

Bock & Yanez will lead County Committee; Meehan, Karvonidis, Bock, and Wade will run for Town Council

BOONTON — The Town of Boonton Republican Committee recently conducted its Reorganization Meeting and selected its leadership for the 2021-23 term. Joseph Bock, Jr., who also serves on the Town Council as Third Ward Council Member, was selected to serve a second term as County Committee Chairman. Former Alderwoman Doris Yanez was selected to serve a second term as Vice Chairwoman.

The Town of Boonton Republican Committee is pleased to run four candidates for Town Council this year. In Wards 1 and 2, respectively, John Meehan and Louis Karvonidis will seek office for the first time. In Wards 3, Joseph Bock will seek re-election to a second term. In Ward 4, Michael Wade will seek re-election to a second term.

Regarding this year’s local, County, and State elections, Chairman Bock stated:

“This year, I am excited for the opportunity to run for re-election and I am pleased to be joined by three excellent candidates for Town Council. I look forward to supporting their campaigns and to supporting the campaigns of Jack Ciattarelli for Governor, Bucco-Dunn-Bergen for State Legislature, and Smith-Krickus-Shaw for County Commissioner.”
