JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — On Tuesday, February 17, Mayor Eric Wilsusen had the honor of swearing in Jefferson Township’s newest Sergeant, Christopher Smolt.

After a successful assignment in the Detective Bureau, Sergeant Smolt is returning to patrol and ready to serve the residents of Jefferson in his new leadership role. His experience and dedication to the department position him well as he takes on this added responsibility.

Congratulations to Sergeant Smolt, and thank you for your continued commitment to protecting and serving the Jefferson Township community.
