JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — Route 181 will be closed on Wednesday, October 7, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT).
The roadway will be closed from 9:00 a.m. until about 5:00 p.m. between Route 15 and Prospect Point Road as the New Jersey Natural Gas project is set to be completed.
Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution when driving through the work zone.
The project’s precise timing is subject to change due to weather or other factors, NJDOT says.
