Madison warns about scams

MADISON — The Borough of Madison is aware of a scam in which residents are receiving calls from a 201 area code stating they must call back ASAP regarding their electric utility. Please note the Madison Electric Department does not make calls of this nature to residents.

Residents are advised to not call the number back or release any of their to the caller.
