Duo shoplifts over $400.00 from Wegmans

HANOVER TOWNSHIP — Hanover Township Police Officer Erik Woodruff arrested Mr. Mark Werner, 42, Wayne, and Mr. Mark Sharkey, 46, Flanders,for Shoplifting on Saturday, July 13.

Officer Woodruff responded to the Wegmans for a shoplifting in progress.

Prior to arrival, patrols were informed that the two suspects were leaving the scene and were provided with vehicle descriptions.

Both vehicles were stopped upon entering Route 10 west and several items of merchandise valued at over $400.00 were located inside the vehicles.

After a brief investigation both drivers were arrested and charged with Shoplifting and conspiracy. Mr. Sharkey was transported to the county jail pending his court date.
