Morris County Library Shows Free Films On Fridays

HANOVER TOWNSHIP — Come out to the Morris County library’s free screenings of recent blockbuster films and independent movies for adults on Fridays at 2:00 p.m. Films are free and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. All showings are in the public meeting room.

Downton Abby, January. 24: Based on the TV show, the continuing story of the Crawley family, wealthy owners of a large estate in the English countryside in the early 20th century. Stars Maggie Smith, Elizabeth McGovern, Hugh Bonneville. Period romantic drama. (PG, Two hours and two minutes, 2019)

Ad Astra, January 31: An astronaut undertakes a mission across an unforgiving solar system to uncover the truth about his missing father and his doomed expedition that now, 30-year later, threatens the universe. Stars Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland. Drama — NOT a sci-fi action film. (PG13, Two hours and three minutes, 2019)

Important Reminder: Seating is limited and there are no reservations, so come early to be sure to get in.
