BOONTON TOWNSHIP — The Rockaway Valley Garden Club generally meets on the second Tuesday of each month.  Meetings begin at 10:00 a.m. and are held at the Boonton Township Municipal Building, 155 Powerville Road. Guests are always welcome and encourage you to come to join to see what they are all about.

The program for Tuesday, June 14 is “Secrets of Orchids” by Morris County Master Gardener, Cheri Wilczek. Speaker starts at 11:00 a.m.

Join for coffee starting at 9:30 a.m. with the business meeting starting at 10:00 a.m.

Orchids are more available and affordable than ever, coming in many colors. Learn how to select the best type of Orchids for Rookies. Potting, planting, propagation, general and best care practices, pests, diseases, and other root problems will be reviewed. Even beginners can successfully attend to and care for beautiful flowering orchids.

This and all meetings are open to the public and are free to attend.
