MORRIS PLAINS — The Morris Plains Police Department is currently hiring for the position of Police Officer. Requirements for applications are as follows:
Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years of age, Meet the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:14-122 and N.J.S.A. 40A:14-27, Must be PTC certified, or provide proof of taking the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police entrance level examination within the past twenty-four months with a minimum score of 70. Applicants must also:
•Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an institution accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools, or Possess an Associate’s Degree from an institution accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and have received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Military, or Possess 65 credits at such accredited school and have received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Military.
