Know Your Voting Rights – Voting in New Jersey

MORRIS COUNTY — Barbara Kuppersmith, chair of Voter Services for the Morristown Area League, will help attendees navigate the voting process, touching on the following topics: Who can vote, how and when to vote, early voting, vote by mail, in person, why residents should vote, residency requirements, the process of removal from voting rolls, checking voter status, and how to learn about the candidates.

Liza Weisberg, a staff attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of New Jersey, will join to answer questions about voting and the Voters Rights Act. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization, neither supporting nor opposing candidates or political parties at any level of government, but always working on vital issues of concern to the public.
