MORRIS COUNTY — Assemblywoman Aura Dunn’s Chester office is currently adorned with the scenic beauty of Morris County, as visualized by six talented Fine Arts students from the County College of Morris (CCM).

For the fifth occasion, Dunn has graciously offered her workspace to spotlight an exhibit of pastel landscapes crafted by CCM’s art students, a collaboration initiated by Fine Arts Professor Todd Doney of CCM’s Drawing 2 class.

Professor Doney expressed his gratitude for this ongoing alliance, stating, “This partnership not only offers the public a chance to appreciate the exemplary talent of our Fine Arts students but also serves as a platform for the students to proudly display their creations. For many, it’s the inauguration of their exhibition journey.”

Tasked with capturing the essence and allure of Morris County, these budding artists from Doney’s Spring 2023 Drawing 2 class have certainly risen to the challenge.

Featured artworks include:

  • “Civil Twilight” by Sandra Rojas of Livingston
  • “Golden Court” by Jazmin Gamboa of Boonton
  • “Autumn Drive” by Bridget Perez of Mount Olive
  • “Night Steam” by Emma Ramos of Blairstown
  • “Lonely Tree” by Maurice Tobias of Lake Hiawatha
  • “Branch” by Stevie Cukor of Morristown

Art enthusiasts and the general public are welcome to view the exhibition at 191 Main Street, Suite D, Chester, which will continue throughout October. For those interested, the office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
