Nursing Assistant Charged with Credit Card Theft and Burglary at St. Clare’s Hospital

MORRIS COUNTY — Olivia Inn, 29, of Clifton, has been charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft, and theft of credit cards following an investigation into stolen property at St. Clare’s Hospital.

On June 28, the Denville Police Department responded to a report of stolen credit cards at the hospital. The investigation revealed that Inn, a nursing assistant employed at the facility, had stolen 18 credit cards from multiple victims and attempted to use some of them fraudulently.

With the assistance of the Fairfield Police Department, Inn was located and arrested later that same day. She was transported to Denville Police Headquarters, where she was processed and charged with the following offenses:

  • Two counts of Burglary (2C:18-2A(1))
  • Three counts of Theft (2C:20-3A)
  • Eighteen counts of Theft of Credit Cards (2C:21-6C(1))

Inn was released pending a future court appearance.
