MORRIS COUNTY — On Thursday, June 26, Denville Police responded to a serious public safety incident in the ACME supermarket parking lot on East Main Street, where two individuals were found unconscious inside a parked vehicle. At approximately 2:47 p.m., a pedestrian flagged down an ambulance after noticing the unresponsive pair. Police arrived on the scene and successfully awakened both individuals, identified as Brandy G. Teabo, 33, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and Kyle C. Wolf, 29, of Blairstown, New Jersey.
Officers observed suspected narcotics visible inside the vehicle. Following a search, additional substances and drug paraphernalia were recovered. Both individuals admitted to having ingested narcotics before arriving at the location.
Also inside the vehicle was a dog, which was safely turned over to the Denville Animal Control Officer.
Wolf was found to have an active warrant out of Fairfield Municipal Court. He was processed and released under court procedures. Teabo, who was determined to have been operating the vehicle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She also received summonses for reckless driving, careless driving, and operating an unregistered vehicle.
After being medically cleared, both were transported to Denville Police Headquarters for processing and later released pending court appearances.
This incident remains under investigation.
