BOONTON TOWNSHIP — In December of 2024 the Boonton Township Police Department took a report involving Credit Card Fraud which resulted in the loss of several thousand dollars from the victim. An investigation was conducted by the Boonton Township Police Department Detective Bureau, which uncovered that the fraudulent transactions were conducted by a suspect in a rental vehicle at a bank in Stamford, Connecticut.

At the time this intelligence was obtained, our Detective began working with the Stamford Police Department as well as MAGLOCLEN (Middle Atlantic-Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network) to build a profile on the suspect which ultimately resulted in an arrest warrant issued for the suspect, Robert Jenkins-Gladden (35) of Marietta, GA. The suspect is still outstanding as of the time of this publication.

Editor’s Note: The court’s rules require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
