DENVILLE — A Short Hills man has been charged following a burglary and theft investigation involving stolen propane tanks from a local business.

On April 19, 2026, officers from the Denville Police Department responded to 88 Ford Road after receiving a report of a theft at Reliable Lift Truck Services.

Upon arrival, officers determined that an unknown suspect had forced entry into a locked container and removed six 33-gallon propane tanks before fleeing the scene.

Following an investigation, police identified the suspect as Jason W. Bostian, 39, of Short Hills. Authorities later apprehended Bostian and charged him with burglary and theft.

After processing, Bostian was released pending a future court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
