EAST HANOVER — Mosquito control treatment is scheduled for a wooded area in East Hanover early Monday morning due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will treat the woods along River Road at Camp Thunderbird on Monday, August 24, between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m.
The treatment will be conducted using an all-terrain vehicle. Officials said the treatment will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin (EPA# 1021-1687-8329), or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient Etofenprox (EPA# 2724-807).
Residents with questions about the mosquito control program or scheduled treatments can contact the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control at (973) 285-6450.
