MORRIS COUNTY — Frieda Rich, a sweet Cavapoo puppy who loves to stay close to her people, is looking for a loving family through WISE Animal Rescue.
Born on August 11, Frieda Rich is a 10-week-old female who mostly enjoys being right next to her person. She gets along with children, other dogs and cats, which makes her a good fit for many kinds of households. WISE volunteers say she would benefit from a confident canine sibling and an experienced owner.
She is becoming more comfortable on a leash and is making good progress with potty training. With continued consistency, patience and positive reinforcement, volunteers expect her to keep building confidence and making great progress.
Frieda Rich will thrive with a family that can give her lots of attention, playtime and cuddles, along with chances to explore her new surroundings as she continues learning and growing.
Frieda Rich came to WISE through the rescue’s partnerships with groups that help dogs from large-scale breeding programs. Those programs sometimes have dogs and puppies they cannot place because of medical needs, birth defects, differences in appearance or simply a lack of demand. WISE works to give these dogs a second chance instead of an uncertain future. The rescue cares for dogs of all kinds, whether healthy, medically fragile, senior or with special needs.
WISE is run entirely by volunteers, and every donation goes directly to the animals in its care. The rescue works with veterinary practices that support its mission to help restore animals to health. Some animals need only standard care, while others need more extensive veterinary or behavioral care.
WISE asks adopters to support its program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not go toward the care of the specific dog being adopted. Instead, it supports all of the dogs in the rescue.
WISE places dogs in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maine, Vermont, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.
