EAST HANOVER — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled for early Monday morning in parts of East Hanover, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control said, citing an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, the treatment will take place between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday, August 17.
Crews will use all-terrain vehicles to treat wooded areas along Yvette Drive and Brentwood Drive.
The county said crews will use one of two pesticides: Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
Residents with questions about the mosquito control program or scheduled treatments can contact the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control at (973) 285-6450. Additional information, including pesticide product labels, is available on the division’s website.
