MORRIS COUNTY — A twenty-seven-year-old Denville man was arrested after his vehicle overturned in the front yard of a home on Old Boonton Road, according to the Denville Police Department.
Officers from the Denville Police Department responded to the area of Old Boonton Road on Friday, September 11, at approximately 10:42 p.m. for a reported motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle that had overturned in the front yard of a house on Old Boonton Road. The driver, later identified as Jonathon Monaco, was located outside of the vehicle.
During the course of the investigation, officers observed signs indicating that Monaco had been operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested and charged with the following:
- Driving While Intoxicated (N.J.S.A. 39:4-50)
- Failure to Maintain Lane (N.J.S.A. 39:4-88)
- Careless Driving (N.J.S.A. 39:4-97)
- Reckless Driving (N.J.S.A. 39:4-96)
