Businesses and Individuals will be honored at the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner

MADISON — The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Awards Dinner on Tuesday, June 4, 6:00 p.m. at Brooklake Country Club, 139 Brooklake Road, Florham Park.

The evening will include a buffet dinner, cash bar, door prizes and an awards ceremony.

Awards to be given will include several Business Improvement Awards, various Community Service Awards and the popular Extra Mile Award.

The Business Improvement Awards will honor Bottle Hill Tavern, 13 Waverly Place with the Best Complete Renovation Award and Sugar Rush, 10 Waverly Place with Most Creative Window.

The Community Service Awards will recognize Tons of Toys, 64 Main Street with the 2019 Appreciation Award and Tri-Town 55+ Coalition with the Outstanding Non Profit of the Year Award. The Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corp., 29 Prospect Street will be receiving the Madison Volunteer of the Year Award and Dominique Peck-Meyer and Colleen Bohensky of Madison will receive the Community Service Award for developing and moderating the Madison Area Parents and Community Facebook page.

This years Distinguished Service Award will recognize John Morris, co-owner of Stewart-Morris, Awards, Gifts and Flags, 71 Kings Road for his ongoing commitment and dedication to the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce and Madison as a whole.

“These businesses and individuals are being honored for their dedication and support of Madison businesses and the community as a whole.” said Chamber executive director Karen Giambra. “This fun event allows us to say Thank you and give recognition to those who make a difference.”

This year will also honor those individuals who are chosen by the community to receive the Extra Mile Award. The Extra Mile Award rewards Madison employees and business owners who provide outstanding customer service.

“These individuals are recognized for that extra-special friendly and knowledgeable service, which truly makes a difference in the customer’s shopping experience”,  said Chamber President John Morris.

All are encouraged and welcome to join this fun and special evening. This event is open to the public.  Tickets are available at $65.00 per person and can be purchased by cash or check.  Checks can be made payable to The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce and sent to P.O. Box 152, Madison, New Jersey 07940.  Please RSVP by May 29.
