HANOVER — “In light of the recent local and state government restrictions in efforts to reduce exposure and spreading of the coronavirus, we are aware that many of our senior residents will be greatly affected by these restrictions,” said Tom “Ace” Gallagher.

A ready-to-go, group of local volunteers have come together, “People Helping People”, who are prepared to step in to aid our older residents, or any of our families that are immunocompromised, by delivering meals, medicine or helping with necessary errands.

All deliveries will be dropped at the door of the residence, with no person to person contact required. We know these are scary and difficult times, but we are a strong caring community, and at times like this, many of us understand the importance of being able to lean on one another.

If you or anyone you know is in need of such assistance, please call or text Tom “Ace” Gallagher 973-441-0114 or email acegallagher@gmail.com.

Also, Call or text Michael Mihalko 973-385-9233 (Liaison to Hanover Township Senior Citizens group) or email tentrent@aol.com.
