MADISON — Madison Rotary will host a virtual wine tasting event from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on  Thursday, June 3.

The focus will be on California wines especially chosen for this event. Selected Gouda cheese is also included.

The sommelier for the evening, Bryan Cocchiara, was a budding bourbon aficionado during his tenure in graduate school, but he truly fell in love with wine when he joined the team at Gary’s Wine.

He has a fond appreciation for bold cabernets, and soft, supple pinot noirs.

All proceeds from the event will fund Madison Rotary’s ongoing commitment to actively engage in eradicating food insecurity in the community, to empower youth, and to partner and provide financial assistance to more than 30 local organizations to enrich the Madison community for all.

The ticket price is $100 per pod, up to four people on Zoom. The wine tasting box includes Raymond Reserve Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, paired with Prairie Breeze Cheddar, and Angels Landing Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon paired with Beemster Gouda XO 26 month and crackers, a $65.00 value.

The wine and cheese can be picked up at Gary’s Wine in Madison until June 3 or they can deliver to your home for a $5.00 fee.

For every ticket, $50.00 is tax-deductible as allowed by law. Purchase tickets by clicking here.
