HANOVER —The Morris County Library has reopened to the public. The library will no longer quarantine returned material and fines will continue to be waived.
The public may now browse the entire first floor of the library which includes the following areas:
- Reader Services
- Children’s section
- Music and media
In addition, the circulation desk will be open for material pick-ups, placing of holds, and walk-in questions. Computers will also be available. Usage is limited to one hour per day via sign-up. Sixty patrons will be allowed to enter the library at one time. Face masks must be worn (covering both nose and mouth) while inside the library. No exceptions. The second floor of the library, Snack Bar, Public Meeting Rooms, and Study Rooms will remain closed.
Library personnel is asking visitors to follow the “One Way” directional signs that have been posted and all other social distancing measures in place.
Library hours will be as follows:
- Tuesday and Wednesday – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Thursday – 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- (Library closed on Sunday and Monday)
Curbside Service is still available during curbside hours. Residents wishing to pick up via the curbside service should call (973) 285-6930.
