MOUNTAIN LAKES — Part-time positions at the Y are now available for almost all departments. Be part of the team at the area’s #1 health and wellness facility. Positions include a free YMCA membership!

Member Services: Friendly, reliable individuals needed for various shifts starting in September to provide assistance and sales to members and potential members over the telephone and in person. Requirements include good communication and human relations skills. The candidate must be flexible, pleasant, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and able to problem-solve. Benefits include free membership. Building and Grounds: Immediate employment to help maintain cleanliness and safety for members of the Y. Light maintenance and housekeeping required. The ideal candidate is dependable and conscientious. Reports to Building & Grounds Supervisor. Hours: Monday-Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Weekends: 7:00 AM-Noon or Noon[1]5:00 PM. Health and Fitness

Group Exercise Instructors: Experienced individuals with Group Fitness Certification needed to teach a variety of fitness classes at all levels. Days and times vary. Membership benefit. Floor-Staff Associates: Various schedules available to work in the Health and Fitness Center. Contact: anthonys@lhymca.com

Aquatics

Lifeguards: Must have current lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications.

Swim Team Assistant Coach: Must be 18/older, have experience teaching swim lessons, and/or competitive swimming experience. Contact keirac@lhymca.com

Swim Instructors: Various shifts. Must be at least 15 years of age. WSI certification is not required but is a plus. Candidates with strong swimming backgrounds will be considered and trained by the YMCA Aquatic Staff.

Swim Instructor for Special Needs Adaptive Program: Responsible for assuring the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all participants during these one-on-one private lessons. The instructor is responsible for teaching the strokes by demonstrating and correcting individuals, so they learn to the best of their ability. Must be enthusiastic, patient, and enjoy working with children from age 3 and young adults up to 18 years of age. Preferred experience in special needs adaptive programs.

Water Exercise Instructor: Certified instructor for weekly water fitness program.

Fun and Fitness at the Y:

Games specialist, Science Instructor, Tumbling/Floor Gymnastics Coach, Basketball and Soccer Coaches (seasonal). Contact: shannonb@lhymca.com

Esports Staff: Responsible individuals to work in our Esports leagues and clubs M-F. Shifts can range from 3:30-7:00 pm. Must have a desire to work with children. Gaming experience is a must. Contact: shannonb@lhymca.com

Kids Club After School Positions: Positions include Site Director (3), morning and afternoon Counselors (20 hours weekly). Excellent experience for future teachers, with no nights or weekends! Contact: shannonb@lhymca.com

Butler (Aaron Decker School) After School Care Staff: 98 Decker Road, Butler • Site Director, must be 20 years old, M-F • Support Staff 3-5 days /week, must be at least 16 years old • 2:15-6:00 pm
