TOWN OF BOONTON — Officers who are trained in bicycle patrol performed a community policing event with the Cub Scouts at the Boonton High School. Officers inspected bicycles and helmets, went over a series of confidence courses and did a traffic safety briefing.

Over the years our officers attended a week long bicycle patrol course in Monmouth County. The bicycle unit has grown in numbers greatly and we often host one to two bicycle safety courses a year on the demand from our community’s organization. Each officer in this unit has also patrolled Main Street, the Parks and Community Events.

Great work to the following Team of Officers: Sgt. Kairys, Ptl. Colombo, Ptl. Questa, Det. Dencker, and Ptl. Westenberger.
