HANOVER — On July 13, 2023, Officer Carlos Najera swiftly responded to a distressing sexual assault report at the Red Carpet Inn. The victim recounted an incident where she was inappropriately touched in the lobby by Mr. Shrikantb Limbachia, a 77-year-old hotel employee.

Upon interviewing the victim, Officer Najera learned that another individual had also contacted authorities with a similar complaint against Mr. Limbachia. The surveillance camera footage was reviewed to corroborate the victims’ statements, providing evidence that supported their claims.

Given the compelling evidence, Mr. Limbachia was arrested and charged with criminal sexual contact. Following the arrest, he was released pending his scheduled court date to address the serious charges brought against him. The authorities are committed to ensuring that justice is served for the victims and that appropriate legal actions are taken against the accused.

Editors Note: A criminal complaint is merely an accusation. Despite this accusation, the juveniles are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
