Kiwanis Club of Greater Dover and IHOP Distribute Turkey Dinners to Fire Victims, Bringing Community Together in Time of Need

DOVER — In a heartwarming demonstration of community solidarity, members of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Dover, in collaboration with IHOP located at 810 Route 46 in Kenvil, came together to distribute complete turkey dinners to the victims of the devastating fire that struck Dover on September 16.

The compassionate effort was led by a dedicated group of individuals, including Jamie Rodgerson, the Food Coordinator from Zufall Health; Pastor Maria Leon; Former Mayor James Dodd; Kiwanis Club’s Lt. Governor Frank Cahill; as well as Kiwanis Club of Greater Dover members Michelle Espada and Maria Rosario. Together, they worked tirelessly to provide essential nourishment and unwavering support to those affected by the tragedy.

The events of September 16th served as a poignant reminder of Dover’s resilient spirit and the unity that binds its community. In the face of adversity, the town’s residents have displayed indomitable strength and solidarity, showcasing the true essence of community.

The Kiwanis Club’s wholehearted commitment to helping others during times of need is a shining example of the powerful impact that individuals and organizations can have when they come together to support one another.
