Helicopters to Conduct Aerial Larvicide Treatment in Multiple Towns

MORRIS COUNTY — The Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will be conducting an aerial larvicide operation on Monday, August 12, 2024, with the time to be determined—weather permitting.

This operation will be carried out in cooperation with the State Mosquito Commission and the NJ Office of Mosquito Control Coordination. The product VectoPrime FG (EPA Registration # 73049-501) will be used to treat mosquito habitats, targeting the water-borne stage of mosquitoes (larvae) before they develop into flying adults. More information about the product can be found on the Morris County website.

The helicopter will be operating over the following towns: Chatham Borough, Chatham Township, East Hanover, Florham Park, Hanover, Lincoln Park, and Montville.
