HANOVER — The Whippany Park High School Class of 2025 is gearing up for a significant event that will not only support their upcoming graduation but also meaningfully engage the community. From October 4th to October 7th, the class will host a Clothing Drive Fundraiser as part of their Project Graduation initiatives, which aim to fund a safe and memorable celebration for the senior class as they approach the end of their high school journey.

This clothing drive invites community members to donate their gently used or new items, making it an ideal time to declutter closets as the season changes. The drive will accept various items, including men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, purses, belts, bed and bath linens, and stuffed animals. These donations will be collected at the trailer behind Whippany Park High School, with specific instructions to avoid leaving bags directly against the school building.

Project Graduation is a longstanding tradition that provides graduates with a safe, alcohol-free environment to celebrate their achievements on graduation night. The funds raised from this clothing drive will go directly toward organizing this event, ensuring it is both fun and memorable for all attendees.

The drive organizers emphasize the importance of community involvement, noting that every piece donated contributes to the success of Project Graduation. The clothing collected will not only support the graduates but may also be repurposed to help those in need, further extending the impact of the community’s generosity.

For those looking to participate, the event provides an excellent opportunity to give back while supporting the Whippany Park Class of 2025. The organizing committee encourages everyone to spread the word and bring their donations during the collection period.

Community members are encouraged to email WPPG2025@gmail.com with any questions or additional information. The Whippany Park Class of 2025 thanks everyone in advance for their support and looks forward to a successful fundraiser.

This initiative highlights the power of community action, showing how a simple act of donation can have a ripple effect, supporting not only the graduating class but also the broader community.
