Hanover Township Recreation Hosts Festive “Hanukkah Hoopla” Celebration

HANOVERHanover Township Recreation is bringing the holiday spirit to the community with its upcoming “Hanukkah Hoopla” event, a joyous celebration for residents of Hanover Township, East Hanover, and Florham Park. The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 29, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hanover Township Community Center at 15 North Jefferson Road in Whippany.

This family-friendly gathering promises an afternoon of laughter, tradition, and festive fun. Attendees are encouraged to bring their menorahs for a special community lighting ceremony. For those who may not have one, extras will be available, ensuring everyone can participate in this cherished tradition.

The festivities will include lively dancing, delicious latkes, sweet donuts, chocolate gelt, creative crafts, and exciting dreidel games. Families can immerse themselves in the holiday’s customs while connecting with friends and neighbors in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Admission is just $5.00 per family, and advanced registration is required. Residents are encouraged to register early, as the deadline for registration is Friday, December 20, 2024. Registration can be completed online by clicking here.
