MORRIS COUNTY — The Hazel Project is asking community members to help out at its first Organizing Party of 2025, which will take place on Saturday, February 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Montville United Methodist Church, located at 29 Whitehall Road in Towaco.

The Hazel Project, a dedicated organization focused on supporting those in need, seeks adult and middle/high school student volunteers to assist in sorting, folding, and organizing clothing donations. These donations will help individuals and families in challenging situations. The event serves as a way to give back and fosters a sense of unity and shared purpose within the community.

Neil Sullivan, a representative of The Hazel Project, emphasized the importance of volunteer participation: “Every pair of hands makes a difference. We rely on our community’s support to ensure these donations reach those who most need them. We would greatly appreciate it if you can spare a few hours.”

Volunteers who wish to participate are encouraged to confirm their availability by emailing neil.sullivan@thehazelprojecthr.org.

As The Hazel Project continues to expand its outreach, events like this play a crucial role in making a meaningful impact. Whether you are a student looking to fulfill service hours or an adult wanting to contribute to a good cause, this is a great opportunity to step up and make a difference.
