BOONTON — Boonton Parks and Recreation invites local families to gear up for a thrilling evening of fun at the upcoming Power Wheels Racing event, scheduled for Monday, May 12, at 6:00 p.m. at the Boonton Senior Center.

Open to children ages 2 through 8, the event allows young racers to bring their own battery-powered “Power Wheels” type vehicles and compete on two exciting tracks. The friendly competition is designed to promote outdoor activity, safe play, and community engagement for the youngest members of Boonton and the surrounding areas.

To ensure safety, all participants must:

  • Provide their own Power Wheels vehicle (battery-powered)
  • Wear a bicycle helmet and closed-toe shoes
  • Be able to operate the vehicle independently without assistance

Important Note: Only stock vehicles are allowed. Modified Power Wheels will be disqualified.

“This event offers a fun and safe way for kids to experience the joy of racing while families cheer them on,” said a Boonton Parks and Recreation representative. “We’re looking forward to seeing the community come together for this exciting evening.”
