East Orange Man Turns Himself In on $1,500 Denville Warrant

DENVILLE — A 38-year-old East Orange man was taken into custody after voluntarily surrendering at Denville Police Headquarters on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Denville Police Department, Aquil Brown, 38, of East Orange, walked into the police lobby at approximately 12:30 p.m. on February 19 to turn himself in on an active warrant issued by Denville Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500.

Police placed Brown under arrest and processed him at headquarters. Authorities said he was unable to post bail following processing and was subsequently lodged at the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a future court appearance in Denville Municipal Court.
