HANOVER — The 200 Club of Morris County will host a community membership drive and pizza party on Wednesday, July 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chimney Rock Inn, 750 Route 10 West, Whippany.
The event is designed to introduce local residents to the 200 Club, its mission, and the members who support families of fallen first responders. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet current members, learn about the organization, and consider joining its membership program.
Funds generated through membership support the organization’s initiatives, including financial assistance for families of fallen first responders and higher education scholarships for qualified recipients. The 200 Club also recognizes first responders for valor and meritorious actions during its annual awards ceremony.
Admission is free. Salad, pizza, and soda will be provided compliments of the event sponsor, HeroCare Health.
Thomas “Ace” Gallagher, Hanover Township Mayor, Vice President of the 200 Club of Morris County, and Chairman of Membership and Outreach, encouraged residents to attend and support the organization.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome new faces this year. Becoming a member/sponsor of the 200 Club is a gratifying way to give back to the men and women who protect us all on a daily basis. They are the unsung heroes of our communities who often put their lives on the line. So please stand with us and turn your appreciation into action,” Gallagher said. “You will be glad you did.”
RSVP is recommended due to limited seating. Those interested should send their name and cell phone number to [email protected].
