MORRIS COUNTY — A 53-year-old Wharton man was taken into custody on an active warrant out of Denville Municipal Court, according to the Denville Police Department.
On Wednesday, September 16, at approximately 12:50 p.m., the Fairfield Police Department contacted Denville Police and advised that they had arrested William Moretti, 53, of Wharton, on an active $2,500 Automated Traffic System warrant issued by Denville.
Denville Police Officers responded to the Fairfield Police Department and took custody of Moretti. He was transported to Denville Police Headquarters, where he was processed.
Moretti was charged with:
- $2,500 Automated Traffic System warrant out of Denville Municipal Court
Following processing, Moretti posted bail and was released pending a future court appearance in Denville Township Municipal Court.
