Oak Ridge Residents Collecting Leftover Halloween Candy for Veterans

November 6, 2026

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — Residents with leftover Halloween candy can put it to good use by donating it to veterans through a collection drive in the Oak Ridge section of the township.

Organizers say the drive is a great way to get rid of extra candy from the Switch Witch, or any candy families simply do not want.

Candy may be dropped off at either of two locations:

3 Park Lane, Oak Ridge
170 Schoolhouse Road, Oak Ridge

Donations will be accepted through Friday, November 20.
