MADISON — September kicks off Library Card Sign Up Month at the Madison Public Library. This year, we are hosting a giveaway for the children and adult patrons. For every new card signed up and for each current card use, patrons will receive an entry into our raffle baskets of Madison Public Library goodies.
The library is currently open by appointment only and for a curbside pickup but there are plenty of library resources you can use from home to read, watch, and research. The library offers Hoopla, Kanopy, Creativebug, and RBdigital for entertainment resources such as ebooks, audiobooks, movies, and tv shows, crafting, and concerts. Kanopy offers a number of educational movies and documentaries, Hoopla offers ebooks, audiobooks, comics, music, and tv, and movies and RBdigital proudly offers AcornTV.
If you are looking to do research, databases such as Consumer Reports, ReferenceUSA, Mometrix, HeritageQuest, and Rosetta Stone are easy to use options for learning.
