JEFFERSON — Three candidates will appear on the ballot this November for one seat on the Jefferson Township Council.
The candidates, listed in alphabetical order, are Yvonne Ioffredo (Republican), Christopher A. Peters (Democrat) and Alejandro Torres (Independent).
The winner will serve the remainder of the term vacated by former Councilman Dan Schultz, who resigned from the council in July. The unexpired term runs through December 2028.
Melissa Senatore and Thomas Galfo will run unopposed for the two other open council seats after winning the Republican primary election in June.
