Arrest at America’s Best Inn for Warrants and Drugs

Sends two to Morris County Jail

HANOVER TOWNSHIP — Hanover Township Police Officer Josh Williams arrested Mr. Raymond Johnson, 36,  Morristown and Ms. Sheri Capabianco, 27, Madison, for possession of CDS on Tuesday, October 8.

Officer Williams was on patrol and was doing a business check of the America’s Best Value Inn when he observed an occupied vehicle parked in the back lot.

Officer Williams approached the vehicle to check on the occupants and discovered active warrants on both parties.

A search of the vehicle resulted in CDS and paraphernalia being located. Both parties were arrested and transported to Hanover Township Police Headquarters for processing.

Both parties were charged with possession of CDS and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Johnson also had a no bail warrant and a $1500.00 warrant.

Ms. Capabianco was additional charged with hindering and possession of prescription legend drugs. She also had warrants totaling $1050.00.

Both parties were transported to the county jail pending their court dates.

Editor’s Note: An arrest or the signing of a criminal complaint is merely an accusation.  Despite this accusation, the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until he or she has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
