Museum of Early Trades & Crafts to Close Temporarily for Construction

MADISON — The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts (METC) will be closed Friday, January 29, and Monday, February 1 through Friday, February 5 due to construction. The Museum will be open this weekend, January 30 and January 31 for visitors.

This closure is part of METC’s interior restoration project which began in early January. EverGreene Architectural Arts of Brooklyn will continue their work on the James Library Building’s interior.

Part of the interior work to be done includes cleaning, desalination, repairs, and restoration of the finishes and paint.
