JEFFERSON — The Morris County Mosquito Commission will be conducting mosquito control operations along Weldon Road near Camp Jefferson on the evening of Wednesday, July 9, weather permitting.
Spraying is scheduled to take place between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. using a truck-mounted sprayer.
The commission will apply either Anvil 2+2 (active ingredient: Sumithrin, EPA Registration #1021-1687-8329) or Zenivex E4 (active ingredient: Etofenprox, EPA Registration #2724-807). Applications will be performed under Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
Residents in the area are advised to remain indoors and keep windows closed during the treatment period.
