Warrant Served in Red Carpet Parking Lot; Arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

HANOVER — Hanover Township Police Officer Mike Puskas arrested Mr. Herminio Rivera,  39, Morris Plains, for possession of drug paraphernalia and warrants on Thursday, October 8.

Mr. Rivera was located in the parking lot of the Red Carpet Inn and was arrested for an active warrant.

During the arrest, drug paraphernalia was located. Mr. Rivera was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was turned over to the Morris Plains Police Department on the warrant.

Editor’s Note: An arrest or the signing of a criminal complaint is merely an accusation.  Despite this accusation, the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until he or she has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
