HANOVER – Get ready to kick off the holiday season with cheer, music, and community spirit at the Cedar Knolls Fire Department’s Annual Tree Lighting event. The festivities will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Fire Department headquarters located at 82 Ridgedale Avenue.

This beloved community tradition promises an evening of holiday fun for families and residents of all ages. Highlights of the event include holiday music and entertainment, free food and hot chocolate, and the much-anticipated lighting of the tree at 6:45 p.m. Santa Claus himself will be making a special appearance, offering children and families the chance to capture festive photos with him.

The Cedar Knolls Fire Department, a cornerstone of Hanover Township Fire District #3, has long been dedicated to fostering a sense of unity and togetherness in the community. “This event is our way of bringing people together to celebrate the holiday season,” said a representative of the department. “We look forward to seeing the joy on everyone’s faces as the tree lights up the night sky.”

Attendees can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere filled with the sounds of holiday classics and the laughter of children enjoying the magic of the season. The Fire Department encourages all residents to come out and share in the holiday spirit.

Don’t miss this festive evening! Mark your calendars, bundle up, and bring your family and friends to the Cedar Knolls Fire Department’s Annual Tree Lighting. Let’s make this holiday season one to remember.
