PARSIPPANY — Marcus Coe scored twice and earned Man of the Match honors as Parsippany High School’s boys soccer team defeated Mountain Lakes, 5–1, on Friday, October 23. Brayden Evans contributed a goal and an assist as the Redhawks secured a win ahead of Monday’s conference title matchup against Madison.
Coe opened Parsippany’s scoring with a goal assisted by Christian Castaño. He followed with his second goal off a pass from Evans, accounting for the Redhawks’ first two goals.

Castaño added Parsippany’s third goal from the penalty spot, finishing the match with a goal and an assist.
Sairam “Sai” Balaji scored the fourth after Jude Berry made a strong run and delivered the assist. Evans completed the scoring with an unassisted goal, adding a finish of his own after helping create Coe’s second.
Coe’s two goals earned him Man of the Match recognition, while Evans’ goal and assist made him another key contributor to an attack that produced four different scorers.

Goalkeeper Aleks Dobrijevic recorded nine saves, extending his school-record career total. Dobrijevic had broken Parsippany’s career saves record against Boonton earlier this month.
The victory sets up a pivotal matchup against Madison on Monday, October 26, with the conference title on the line. The Redhawks will play at Madison High School at 4:00 p.m.
