BOONTON — The Town of Boonton is making every effort to service members of the public while at the same time working to insure the safety of Town employees and members of the general public during the current national health pandemic known as Corona Virus/COVID-19.
Effective Monday, March 16 until further notice, access to Town Hall administration offices and its services by members of the public seeking assistance during business hours by Town Hall staff will be limited to window service only. There will be no access to any internal Town Hall administrative offices by members of the public. The service window is located in the vestibule accessed through the front door of Town Hall. Payments and other documents can also be dropped off in the box located outside the front door of Town Hall. Staff is also happy to work with the public via email and telephone. The regular scheduled meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen will be held on Monday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting room and will be open to members of the public.
Also, the Administration has closed the Town Recreation Center as well the Senior Citizens’ Center and discontinued all programs associated with both of those departments. The Town’s Senior Bus will not be operating until further notice.
