Celebrate All Things Hanover

HANOVER — Two great events…one great day!

On Saturday, September 18, 2021 (rain date Sunday, September 19, 2021) Hanover Township Day will celebrate all things Hanover from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at the Hanover Township Municipal Campus and Veterans Fields located on North Jefferson Road in Whippany.

The annual Hanover Township Day celebration will end with a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Free transportation from Brickyard Field in Whippany and Malapardis Park in Cedar Knolls will be provided so residents can park and hop on the bus for a worry-free day! Handicapped parking will be available at Stoney Brook Field in Whippany with free transportation to Veterans Field.

Free activities for Hanover Township Day already include:
. A performance by the WPHS Marching Band to open the event
. Hope One station from the Morris County Sherriff’s Department
. Free hot dogs prepared and served by members of the Hanover Rotary
. Free corn on the cob purchased, prepared, and served by members of the Knights of Columbus #6904
. Balloon creations
. Face Painting
. Live Dee Jay with music and contests throughout the day
. Tables and displays from Township civic, educational, political, religious, and youth sporting organizations
. Bounce houses. test your strength contest and the trackless train
. Announcement of the winner of the Hanover Township Recreation/Wegmans “Hit the Trails” drawing of a $250 Wegmans gift card

Please note, all food and activities for Hanover Township Day are free.

Activities for the Patriotic Celebration with Fireworks include:
. A variety of food trucks providing sweet treats and snacks.
. Balloon Pop, Ring Toss, and other activities for children
. Patriotic Music during the Fireworks

Please note that the food trucks and some activities for the children charge a fee.
