MORRIS COUNTY — ShopRite is celebrating its 75th anniversary with two weeks of special savings, digital offers and promotions for customers at its stores, including locations throughout Morris County.
The celebration runs during the sale weeks of August 16 and August 23, featuring anniversary-themed promotions, digital deals and limited-time offers. Sale prices on many items will end in .75, a nod to the milestone year.
ShopRite was founded in 1951 by a group of independent New Jersey grocers as part of the Wakefern Food Corp. cooperative and has grown into one of the region’s most recognized supermarket brands while remaining rooted in local ownership.
During the week of August 16, customers can take advantage of an Own Brands digital coupon offer on select Bowl & Basket, Paperbird, Well Everyday and Wholesome Pantry products. Shoppers who purchase $75 or more of participating Own Brands products will receive $25 off their total purchase after downloading the digital coupon before checkout, valid August 16 through August 22.
A Three-Day Super Sale will run Thursday, August 20 through Saturday, August 22, with sale prices ending in .75 on items including eggs, produce, pantry staples, snacks, cookies, ice cream and Italian sausage.
The celebration continues during the week of August 23 with a Digital Doorbusters sale and circular wrap featuring 18 digital coupons on popular items, also priced to end in .75.
“For 75 years, ShopRite stores have been family-owned and operated by grocers who live and work in the communities they serve,” said Darren Caudill, Chief Sales Officer of Wakefern Food Corp. “That local connection has always been at the heart of ShopRite — helping families find more value in every shopping trip, supporting neighborhoods and showing up for customers generation after generation.”
