The Kennedy Dancers Performing at Madison Community House

MADISON — The Kennedy Dancers will return to the Thursday Morning Club‘s Madison Community House for a special holiday performance Saturday, December 10.

The holiday showcase features performances by the Kennedy Dance Professional Repertory with choreography by Founder Diana Dragone.

Since its inception, Kennedy Dancers has responded to community needs serving not only professional dancers but also teens and young adults who are at risk and are provided scholarships to learn to dance with professionals of the company. The needs of senior citizens are also addressed through diverse dance class performances that offer fun and fitness.

Kennedy Dancers, Inc. is a nonprofit, Jersey City-based professional dance company established in 1976.

The Saturday, December 10 program at the Madison Community House, 25 Cook Avenue, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a buffet of holiday treats. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children under 12.

Checks can be made payable to “TMC, Kennedy Dancers” and mailed to TMC, P.O. Box 345, Madison, NJ, 07940. The Thursday Morning Club’s Madison Community House is located at 25 Cook Ave., Madison.

Organized in 1896, the Thursday Morning Club (TMC) offers programs and services to support the community, and its Madison Community House provides a home for a five-day preschool and before- and after-school child care programs, as well as a number of sports, recreation, and civic groups.

Those who would like to serve the community, make new friends, and enjoy programs and activities are asked to consider joining the Thursday Morning Club.
